Registration is now open for women interested in joining a Hawks UWHL team. We have three teams in the UWHL (final league structure is still being determined), but it corresponds to beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. We’ve made many appearances in playoffs, and our White D3 team won the 2013 championship, and other teams consistently placing well also.
The season starts in September and runs through playoffs in March. We practice once a week at Bucks County Ice Sports Center, on either Monday or Tuesday nights, around 8 or 9. We also run a skills clinic on Monday nights, so you can get even more ice time!
We celebrated our 10th anniversary this year. We’ve grown from a small group of hockey moms to a strong organization with three teams, great coaches and volunteers, skills development clinics, and lots of off-season fun too! We have a lot of fun – traveling to tournaments all around the country, Vegas to Florida, and taking our game up to Canada as well. Beach parties, triathlons, and fundraisers for charity are some more of our activities. We’ve supported each other through all the things that life throws at us. If you’re not looking for just a team, but an entire hockey family, check us out!
