The Hawks Hockey Club provides women of all ages the opportunity to play ice hockey in a competitive, but supportive environment. The Hawks play out of Bucks County Ice Sports Center in Warminster, Pa.
The two travel teams are in the White Division 2 and White Division 3 of the UWHL (United Women’s Hockey League). The fall season runs from October through March, and if we make the playoffs, the season is even longer. The travel teams are quite intensive and do require the player to attend practices on Tuesday nights and games on the weekends. Home games for all three travel teams are Saturday evenings. Away game times vary. Travel teams also play in occasional tournaments in the off-season.
The Hawks also host an in-house game weekly, at approximately the White D 1 level, for experienced players who like regular competition but prefer less travel.
Besides our fall season, the Hawks run a Spring League in which all women from the area are encouraged to join. This casual round-robin league consists of four teams who play refereed games once a week for ten weeks April through June.
The Hawks continue to grow and thrive due to it’s make up of dedicated women who love the sport and camaraderie of the game of Ice Hockey. If you feel you can be an asset, on the ice or off the ice for the hawks we want to hear from you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
